Puck, Ben and Jem had been called to the mission room by Annie, the Black Mission controller. But Annie wasn't very happy, however, since such a mission as that described in the mission folders on the desk before her, required four people at the least, yet she'd only been give three, three from completely different ranks. At least Puck was a highly able agent and Jem would have been Black if it weren't for his leg ... Yes, maybe she could look at this positively in some way ... Maybe.

Puck entered the mission room in a soldier like manner. A habit from having been in the RAF though there was a dangerous nature to his walk too, telling you that you would be stupid to mess with the guy. Sure he got sick now and again. But he beat cancer. He had lived a year in prison without becoming someone's butt monkey.
He looked at Annie nodding to her when he had entered. Then stood at attention awaiting the others and her commands.

Ben entered the room a minute later, back straight, hands in his pockets. He'd had to get one of the guys to cover for him at the coffee shop, since he'd been on shift, but it hadn't been that hard. For a moment, he wondered why Puck Ashmore was there - he was a Black; too high a colour to take a mission with Ben, a Red. But he brushed it off and just stood facing Annie, expecting her to speak, even though she stayed quiet, still. She was waiting for Jem.

Having been dropped off at the base, Jem had gone straight into the base and taken a second to get changed int eh locker room, shoving his school stuff in there; it was highly unlikely he'd need it. He had been told in the car to go to a particular missions room, and that was what he was going to do.
As he entered the room, he first spotted Puck and Ben - well, how could he not, they were both massive. "Sorry m'late," he mumbled in apology, going to stand with the other two and await orders as he'd been told. Of course, he wouldn't have minded sitting either, but as none of the others were, he wouldn't complain. Ever.

Annie just nodded to Jem - he wasn't late, but the others had been earlier than expected, so they'd been there for about five minutes already. Sitting forwards, she slid three files across the table towards them. "You're going to Shropshire," she told them. "There are two girls we've been watching since they left their house this morning. We want you three to get in on the scene and kidnap them. They can bring in some high ransoms, and it seems they're good candidates for recruitment, so treat them well." All of the details for the targets were in the folders, as well as the outlines for their roles, but Annie carried on talking anyway. "Jem, you're to be the driver and back up in case anything goes wrong. Nathan, Ben, you two are going directly for the targets. Meet up with the two agents tailing the pair. They'll help you out if needed." She paused, gathering her thoughts and waiting to see if any of them had any questions.

Jem didn't say anything at first, merely taking the folder given to him and opening it - he skipped some details for now, and focused on his own role and where he would be driving and in what car. Apparently, there was a worker's construction place nearby and Valkyrie had copied the style of their vans, and he would be driving one. For a fleeting moment, he was about to say he couldn't drive, when he realised he could, and just didn't have a license. It didn't look like he would have to do much more than sit in the van if everything went to plan.
"I think I get it," he said slowly, hoing they weren't going to disguise him. The van had blacked out windows anyway.

Puck listened to Annie and nodded at the information given, looking over the file the instant he got it. "If they resist?" He had to ask because if there was a chance they resisted he wanted to know the amount of force he could take. Treat them well yes, but to what extent.

Annie smirked. "Don't break anything and don't shoot or stab them. Otherwise, use whatever force is necessary. Knock them out, if you must," she added as an afterthought. She put a set of keys on the table, pushing them towards Jem. "If you have no more questions, then collect your weapons. You should leave immediately."

Puck nodded instantly. "Yes ma'am." It was a habit of his, and tended to come out in front of those higher than him. He left the room to go collect his weapons. He would take a silenced pistol just in case Jericho made an appearance. He then simply made sure he had a cloth on him and some chloroform.

Jem took the keys off the table and put them in his back pocket for now, nodding once in a sort of goodbye-slash-assent, and then followed Puck out of the room. He grabbed very little in the form of weaponry. He had a knife from his red days and if there happened to be any Jericho agents around, he was sure he could take them (or run). Sure that his pain-killers would be lasting around six hours and that the trip to Nottingham couldn't take more than an hour (or maybe two, if the traffic was bad), he went down to the garages. He found the locker that corresponded with the number on his key, and opened it up. He checked the van was, you know, not obviously painted recently or anything like that before getting into the driver's seat and waiting.

Ben nodded and followed the other two out, slightly nervous to be going on a mission with two others from significantly higher ranks. He just hoped he didn't mess up at all. Grabbing what weapons he thought he might need, he concealed them in easy-reach places beneath his clothes and went to the car lockers, finding Jem sat in one of the vans and jumping in the middle - there were two rows of seats (totaling five seats) and a large space at the back for 'work equipment'.

Puck walked into the car lockers finding the one Jem and Ben were in. He got in the van and rested his head against the back.

Jem checked the pair were safely buckled in (let it never be said that Valkyrie weren't careful), and then started the van and drove off, gritting his teeth as he drove. He wasn't exactly the best driver - barely scraping through Valkyrie's tests - and he was certain that one day he would lose control of the car. He didn't bother starting a conversation; he was just naturally quiet like that, usually only answering questions if they were directed at him.

Ben sat back in his seat but looked between the other two - he'd been on two other missions like this before, but they were with other reds and one time, a black, he knew that different people worked in different ways. "So how are we doing this?" he asked. "I mean, we could like, stop the van, jump out and grab them, but then we'd have the cops all over us with loads of witnesses ..." he added lightly.

Puck looked at Ben then over at Jem. "We could do a few things. We could follow them to their home and do it there. Or possibly watch them during the day and give them an offer of a fake modelling gig." Puck gave his thoughts to them both. Deciding both those would be much cleaner ways to get them but if they wanted to do something else he would possibly go along with it.

Jem just shrugged slightly. Sure, he was one of the higher-ranked ones here, but he was also sixteen and just driver. Even joining at age thirteen didn't diminish that. "I don't know, it's up to you guys," he said quietly, barely taking his eyes off the road in front of him as they drove towards the outskirts of Birmingham.

Ben nodded, "There wasn't any layout maps for the house, but we should be able to intercept them before they get home," he pointed out, referring to the files they'd looked at. "... The modelling gig would be good though - maybe we could go with them both, they're not very likely to just accept that we're giving them an offer right away, and if they don't, then we can follow them home ... or something," he shrugged slightly.

Jem frowned slightly. “Why not just find out where they are now and intercept them as they go down a dark alleyway or something? I’ll be parked nearby. Put your arms around their shoulders, be smooth and act like gentlemen because you want to walk two pretty girls home,” he suggested. It wasn’t that he didn’t like the whole espionage and kidnap idea, it was just that he had always been told that sometimes, it was best to hide in plain sight.

Puck looked over at Jem. "That could work but somehow I think these girls aren't ones to let random men walk them home." He looked over at Ben. "We could always pose as models ourselves and try the approach them method. Maybe they might be slightly more open to letting us get close to them."

"But then how would we get them in the van?" Ben pointed out. "There's always a risk that they're not going to believe us, no matter what ruse we try and play." He straightened his tie, an unconscious tic of nervousness. He wanted to tell them a plan, but he was the lower rank, which may or may not have been a reflection on his planning skills. "How about doing that, but keeping the tail on them in case they see through it, so we can intercept them at the house afterwards if needs be."
